Hortiland Holland b.v. has covered quite some ground since its establishment in the Netherlands almost 30 years ago.

Starting as a company providing consultancy and high quality hybrid seeds for professional growers in Europe, Hortiland developed over the years into a solid company covering a wide range of products and established its presence worldwide.

Today Hortiland exports its products to a multitude of countries ranging from Europe to the Middle East, Africa and the Far East. With a global horizon we bring the well known and guaranteed Dutch quality products to over 20 countries.

Hortiland develops, manufactures and distributes three principal product divisions:

-Plant nutrients and specialty fertilizers,

-hybrid vegetable seeds

-biological plant nutrition and crop protection

A highly skilled staff of agronomists is supporting the family of Hortiland customers all over the world.
Efficiency, intensive support, partnership and flexibility are the keys to Hortiland’s success.
The quality of Hortiland’s products and notably the fast and direct service to the customers are the germs to an ever growing global network of customers.

Hortiland’s history since 1992.

1992: Establishment of Hortiland in ‘s-Gravenzande, the Netherlands by Loes van Velden. The initial activities included consultancy and the sales of vegetable seeds and measuring equipment to horticulturists in South East Europe.

1993: Opening of a sales support office in Athens, Greece.

1994: Specialty fertilizers are added to Hortiland’s product range.

1996: Start up of market development and exports to other Balkan countries

1999: Establishment of a separate export department.

2004: Expansion of the number of staff at the Athens branch as demand for technical and commercial support increased

2006: Biological plant nutrients and plant protection are added to Hortiland’s product range

2008: Strong increase of the export network in Middle East, Africa and Mediterranean countries

2010: Relocation of Hortiland’s Athens branch to the airport area with new offices, trial field and storage capacity

2013: Organic fertilizers are added to Hortiland’s product range

2014: Start of commercial activities in the far East(China and South Korea)

2018: Establishment of Hortiland Holland b.v(besloten vennootschap company in the Netherlands, head office)

2019: Establishment of Hortiland S.A. (societé anonyme company, Greece branch)
